Handwriting

OT will help your child learn the correct way to form their letters using the Handwriting Without Tears Program.  Younger children will use multisensory tools to learn letter formation in a developmentally appropriate teaching order. Older children will learn to write with the appropriate size, write on the lines, and use adequate spacing between their words. Cursive and typing are also important writing skills your child can learn through OT. Tina also offers handwriting remediation, if your child does not have underlying visual motor or perceptual issues, and will focus on handwriting skills only. Contact for more information.
